Gotta love the Facebook knuckle-dragging, mouth-breathing idiots.
1. By that logic, Christ could have saved them from being kidnapped away from their homeland and forced into slavery in the first place.
2. It was the Union army destroying the confederacy and the 13th amendment that stopped slavery, not divine intervention.
3. After slavery ended, things were still pretty rough for the former slaves and their descendants.
4. True freedom and equality for everyone is still a goal, not reality, a goal that many don’t support.
This person should really be educated on exactly “how” our ancestors went into slavery. That might be a little too much on them, they may have to actually read a book.
